All About the Mitsubishi Minicab

Since 1966, Mitsubishi Motors has been building and distributing the Mitsubishi Minicab (Japanese: 三菱・ミニキャブ), a Kei truck and microvan.

In 1991, the 5th generation Minicab was introduced and sold on the market. It featured a redesigned body, and it took full advantage of the new tax regulations implemented at that time. It did this by increasing the wheelbase as well as upgrading the engine capacity from 550cc to 660cc. 

The Minicab van (which was intended for commercial usage) along with the Bravo (intended for personal use) had the latest technologies incorporated for improving versatility significantly not to mention comfort and ease of operation.

The Minicab lineup gives you three options for engines:

• A standard 4-valve SOHC unit
• A 50ps 5-valve DOHC unit
• A 2-valve SOHC unit (adopted in some of the truck models)
